Position Overview This role serves as the primary field leader for on-site masonry and chimney construction teams. Lead on-site crews, providing direct supervision and technical mentoring to junior technicians and apprentices to develop their skills. Read and interpret blueprints, architectural diagrams, and job specifications to ensure accurate project execution. Ensure all construction work adheres to NFPA 211, CSIA guidelines, and local building codes. Conduct pre- and post-job safety inspections and enforce strict adherence to OSHA and fall protection standards. Coordinate with office staff and vendors to ensure all necessary materials and tools are staged and available for each project. Maintain detailed job records, including progress notes, material usage, and comprehensive photo documentation for company records. Assisting and performing chimney and fireplace installations, repair work, and relining. Working both independently and with a team of other laborers Working both inside buildings and outside, including on roofs and at various heights Assist and perform masonry, flashing, and venting installations Maintain an organized and professional job site Communicate professionally with both customers and team members Qualifications Hands-on experience in chimney construction, masonry, or specialized structural venting. Proven experience leading a field crew or managing small-to-medium scale construction projects (preferred) Ability to work at heights such as on ladders, roofs, scaffolding, and man lifts Eager to learn and a strong worth ethic Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is mostly team-oriented Communication skills in both with other team members and customers Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment weighing 75+ lbs. Physical stamina for kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods in various weather conditions. Valid driver’s license with a clean record Ability to pass a background check Why Us?
