Now Hiring: Lead Wood Fireplace Service & Installation Technician We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Technician to oversee field operations while performing hands-on installation, service, and repair work. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft and is ready to lead by example in the field. What You’ll Do Install wood-burning fireplace systems Perform inspections, cleanings, diagnostics, and system evaluations Repair and rebuild fireboxes, smoke chambers, crowns, and chimney caps Install stainless steel chimney liners and chase covers Diagnose and resolve venting, drafting, and combustion issues Communicate clearly with customers and explain service findings and options Prepare accurate estimates and job documentation Lead and support a small field crew on daily job sites Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry codes and safety standards Maintain high-quality workmanship and jobsite professionalism What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Stable, year-round full-time employment Supportive, team-oriented company culture Opportunities for continued training and industry certifications (CSIA/NFI) A respected company with years of proven stability What We’re Looking For CSIA Certification Preferred (NFI Certification a plus) Strong experience in wood fireplace, chimney, hearth, or related trades Proven ability to troubleshoot gas systems, venting issues, and structural chimney Leadership experience or strong leadership potential in the field Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to support a small crew on job sites Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work safely on ladders and rooftops Experience in framing, masonry, or construction trades is a plus Must live within 20 miles of Holland, PA Ready to Lead?
