Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Chimney and Fireplace Installation and Service to lead our team in delivering exceptional installation, maintenance, and repair services for chimney systems and fireplaces. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence across our service divisions. Responsibilities Lead and manage the installation, servicing, and repair of chimney systems and fireplaces with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely completion of all installations and services. Manage teams of technicians, providing guidance on technical procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards related to chimney and fireplace systems. Develop and maintain construction plans, schematics, and detailed project documentation using construction management software within our pos system. Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource allocation to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards. Foster strong relationships with clients by providing expert consultation on chimney system designs and maintenance plans. Skills Experience in construction with a focus on chimney systems or fireplace installations. Proficiency in estimating, project scheduling blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. Strong knowledge of construction regulations related to chimney systems, fireplaces, and general building codes. Skilled in using software including our POS system and basic computer skills Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively within a management role while ensuring safety compliance. Experience managing complex infrastructure projects from inception through completion with an emphasis on cost control and schedule adherence. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols, regulatory compliance requirements, and contract management. Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. NFI certification OR CSIA Certification a plus if not we will help you test.
