Experienced Design Sales Specialist – Santa Barbara Showroom We are looking for a motivated, personable Sales Specialist to join our Santa Barbara showroom. This is a sales-focused position for someone who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, learning products, and closing sales. Our Sales Specialists are supported by a robust company-paid leads program, giving you the opportunity to work with customers actively looking for countertops, Fireplaces, etc. Your role is to develop those leads into sales by understanding customer needs, educating them on products, providing recommendations, preparing quotes, and guiding customers through the purchasing process. Design Sales Specialists focus on selling and developing company-generated leads. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers with material selection and/or countertop/project quotes. Respond to and develop company-generated leads Build customer relationships and guide clients through the sales process Understand customer needs, project requirements, budget, and timeline Learn and educate customers on current and new product lines Provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions Prepare quotes, accurately enter customer information, and follow up consistently Maintain communication throughout the sales process Achieve monthly sales goals Cultivate relationships with industry professionals and referral sources Communicate company and manufacturer recommendations regarding product application and installation Effectively prioritize multiple customers and sales opportunities Work cooperatively within a team environment What We Offer We are committed to providing the tools and support necessary for you to succeed. Sales-minded and motivated by achieving goals Comfortable initiating conversations and following up with customers An excellent listener and communicator Professional, personable, and confident Organized and detail-oriented Able to learn and retain product information Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Interested in developing long-term customer and industry relationships Previous sales, showroom, construction, flooring, tile, countertop, or related experience required. Schedule & Compensation Location: Santa Barbara Showroom Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, possibly Monday/Saturday rotation. Hours: 32–40 per week Wage: $23-$27/hour, plus an average of $2,000+ in monthly earned commissions Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour Work Location: In person
