Why Sequence Matters, Not Just Individual Steps
Skipping ahead (starting finish work before rough-in is confirmed correct, for example) is how a problem caught easily at one stage becomes an expensive rework at a later stage — the sequence itself is a risk-management tool, not just a checklist ordering convention.
Scheduling Around Required Inspections
Many jurisdictions require inspection at specific points (often rough-in, before finish material covers the work) — planning your sequence around these inspection windows, rather than treating inspection as an afterthought that delays a finished job, avoids costly schedule conflicts.
