Job Overview
Cozy Fireplace Space is looking for a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll install, inspect, and test gas, electric, wood-burning, and fireplace inserts in residential and commercial properties while ensuring every installation meets local building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Install gas, electric, wood-burning, and pellet fireplaces.
- Install fireplace inserts, mantels, surrounds, and venting systems.
- Read blueprints, installation manuals, and technical drawings.
- Perform inspections and safety checks before and after installation.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Test fireplace operation and explain system usage to customers.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and perform minor repairs when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete installation reports and required documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service on every project.
Qualifications
- Experience installing fireplaces, stoves, or similar heating systems preferred.
- Knowledge of gas lines, venting systems, and fireplace safety.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- HVAC, construction, masonry, or carpentry experience is a plus.
