Job Overview
Cozy Fireplace Space is seeking an experienced Mason to join our installation team. In this role, you’ll build, repair, and restore brick, stone, block, and masonry fireplaces, chimney systems, hearths, and outdoor fireplaces for residential and commercial customers. You’ll work with premium materials to create beautiful, durable, and safe fireplace installations that meet industry standards and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities
- Build and install brick, stone, and masonry fireplaces.
- Construct and repair chimney systems, hearths, fireboxes, and fireplace surrounds.
- Install natural stone, manufactured stone veneer, brick, and concrete block.
- Read blueprints, project drawings, and construction plans.
- Measure, cut, and shape masonry materials accurately.
- Mix mortar and other construction materials.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Repair damaged masonry, chimneys, and fireplace structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Collaborate with installers, contractors, and project managers to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of masonry or stonework experience preferred.
- Experience with fireplace, chimney, or residential masonry projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of masonry tools, materials, and installation techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred.
